Hi, my name is Melissa Fager and I am the Middle School youth pastor here at First covenant Church. I was born in Wichita, KS and was raised up in a Christian home. I accepted Christ at a young age, and was called into youth ministry my senior year of high school. I went to college at Friends University in Wichita, KS and majored in Religion/Philosophy. I have been involved in youth ministry for 5 years.

I am a country girl, who loves the outdoors, bonfires, and exploring new places I’m a BIG fan of Dr. Pepper and Southern Sweet Tea !!! I love middle school students because of the passion and fire they have, and I enjoy channeling that passion and fire toward Christ, and walking beside them in this journey of life, deepening their relationship with God.

Everyday I am so blessed and amazed that God loves me unconditionally, with the outstanding love that He is, and I live everyday to show whoever I come into contact with the Love of Christ. “However I consider my life worth nothing to me if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me, the task of testifying to the Gospel of His grace.” Acts 20:24. I love Christ with everything I have in me, and I strive everyday to become more like Him.
