Mothers' Hour
Meets 9:15 am to 10:45 am the first Thursday of the month each month during the school year. Mothers' Hour is an inter-denominational ministry whose purpose is to give encouragement to women and parents of pre-school and school age children. Childcare available. For details call 785-823-3792.
Ways to Get Involved
- Teaching or assisting in classes on Sunday mornings
- Leading a small group at Kidmo on Wednesday nights
- Directing or assisting with drama in Christmas musical
- Creating bulliten boards or backdrops
- Providing refreshments at special events
- Planning parties for 5th and 6th grades
- Being a buddy for a special needs child
- Being a leader for divorce care for kids ministry (DC4K)
- Breakout leader (discipleship ministry)
- Camp Counselor
- Web Page design and upkeep
- Occasional office work
- Creating library space for kids
- Leading music
- Drama (skits, puppet shows)
- Helping with special events
- Prayer partner for a class
- Photographer at special events
- Painting classroom walls
- Painting murals in classrooms
- VBS: leader, helper, director, decorating
